Message Overview:
Message Description:
L-FMC-6 data reported absent by the R-PFD and R-MFD. Only logged in the air.
Possible Causes:
- L FMS/L PFD Mode Selection
- Left Flight Management Computer 1 (FMC) (A4-FMC1)
- Junction Box (JB2)
- Right Adaptive Flight-Display Unit 2 (PFD) (A26)
- Right Adaptive Flight-Display Unit 2 (MFD) (A28)
- Integrated-Avionics Processor System (IAPS) Card Cage (ICC) (A4)
- Associated Wiring
Troubleshooting Tips:
Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin:
- AW300-34-0189 - Pro Line 21 Advanced Avionics Nuisance Messages and FMS-6200 Issues (20501 - 20999)
Cause: This nuisance message is caused by the FMS-6200 software.
Work Around: Switching to the map function for the Right and / or Left PFD should clear this message.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Select FMS1 and PPOS Format on L PFD.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: Aircraft has to be WOFW for the message to be seen, and logged, on the MDC.
- Reset L IAPS (CB1-B6) circuit breaker.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Do wiring checks of the ARINC 429 data bus L-FMC-6 between IAPS connector A4P3 pins 22 & 24, through Junction Box 2, and R PFD connector A26P1 pins 35 & 36 and R MFD connector A28P1 pins 35 & 36. Repair/replace as required.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: An internal short of any LRUs connected to this data bus might cause this failure.
- Swap FMCs.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap PFDs.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap MFDs.
- If system check passes, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace IAPS Card Cage (ICC).
- Do close out.
