Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Are there more than one generator magenta on the synoptic page?
- If YES, go to step 4.
- If only one generator is magenta, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check between the affected Generator Protection/Logic PCB in DCPC and the DCU as follows:
Left Generator

From To Result A36P1-s A14EP1-1J A36P1-w A14EP1-1K NOTE: The left (PCB1) and right (PCB2) protection PCBs have the same part numbers and can be swapped for troubleshooting purposes.
APU GeneratorFrom To Result A196P1-s A14AP1-12C A196P1-w A14AP1-12D - If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If no defects are found, continue with next step.
- Replace the affected Protection/Logic PCB as required. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Access the MDC to view fault messages. Are there any DCU related fault messages?
- If YES, use SmartFix Plus to troubleshoot these messages first.
- If NO, replace the DCU.
- Do close out
