Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check resistance of cockpit temp selector at connector PL17J2 between pin 45 and 47. Expected result 9.5 kΩ. If the resistance value is other than 9.5 kΩ, replace the potentiometer R2.
  2. Check resistance of cockpit temp selector at connector PL17J2 between pin 46 and 47 while rotating the knob. Expected result, linear variant from 0 to 9.5 kΩ. If the resistance is not linear up to 9.5 kΩ replace the potentiometer R2.
  3. Do a continuity check between connector PL17P2 pin 45 to connector A56P2 pin 78.
  4. Do a continuity check between connector PL17P2 pin 46 to connector A56P2 pin 70.
  5. Do a continuity check between connector PL17P2 pin 47 to connector A56P2 pin 71.
  6. If all the above is good, swap IASC 1 with IASC 2.
  7. If fault follows, replace faulty IASC.
