Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

  • Remote Data Concentrator (RDC) (A13)
  • Right Power Center (DCPC) (A36)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap the Right DC Power-Center Protection (PCB2) with the Left DC Power-Center Protection (PCB1). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective DC Power-Center Protection.

  2. Do wiring check of the following wires:

    From
    To
    Results
    RDC conn. A13EP1 - pin 2A R DCPC conn. A36P2 - pin L
    RDC conn. A13EP1 - pin 2B R DCPC conn. A36P2 - pin M

    1. If wiring check is satisfying, continue with next step.
    2. If wiring check is not satisfying, repair the defective wire.

  3. Replace Remote Data Concentrator (A13). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace the defective Remote Data Concentrator.

  4. Replace Right DC Power Center (A36).
  5. Do close out.
