Overview
Note:
The Logo Lighting is applicable on A/C post SB 700-33-001 for Global Express/XRS, or on A/C Post SB 700-1A11-33-001 for Global 5000.
The logo lights system comprises two lights installed on the left and right bottom sides of the horizontal stabilizer. The logo lighting supplies light to the left and right sides of the vertical stabilizer to make the logos more in view when it is dark.
On A/C Pre SB 700-33-019 for Global Express:
The logo lighting has two lights, and the AC power center (ACPC) supplies 26 VAC power to the lights through a transformer in the APU start-contactor assembly (ASCA). The LOGO ON/OFF switch on the EXTERNAL LIGHTS control panel controls, through the EMS CDUs, the lights.
On A/C 9123 and subs, and Post SB 700-33-019 for Global Express, or on Global 5000/XRS:
The logo lighting has two lights, and the DC power center (DCPC) supplies 28 VDC power to the lights through secondary power distribution assembly (SPDA) 4. The LOGO ON/OFF switch on the EXTERNAL LIGHTS control panel controls, through the EMS CDUs, the lights.
Logo Lights
The logo light has a housing with a lens and a halogen lamp. There are two logo lights which are installed on the left and right bottom sides of the horizontal stabilizer. The logo lights are on when the LOGO switch sends a ground signal to the EMS CDU. The ground signal is sent when the LOGO switch is set to ON.

Logo Lighting Transformer (On A/C Pre SB 700-33-019 for Global Express)
The logo lighting transformer is part of the APU start-contactor assembly which is installed in the aft equipment compartment.
