An electrical short condition could be caused by over torquing and cracking the sensor during installation, causing water infiltration in the internal circuitry.

It is recommended to perform cleaning of the vent valves before sanitization, or as required if the source of the water is from a region having a high concentration of minerals in the water. This procedure is also applicable if a leak is detected at the vent valve.

EnviroVac Toilet (G5000 - Global XRS)

• Refer to Observed Fault "383OBS001 - ENVIROVAC TOILET WILL NOT FLUSH"

If the potable water system turns ON and OFF, make sure to check the Galley touchscreen for any maintenance alerts concerning the water Sterilizer. If the water Sterilizer is detected faulty, the water system will shut down. Most aircraft have a function on the galley touchscreen to bypass the Sterilizer inhibit.
