WHITE MESSAGE
Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

AP pitch trim inoperative monitor detects invalid trim (only when down to one AP).

Roll mis-trim monitor detects excessive forces. For LWD, if AP disconnects then A/C will roll RWD.

Pitch mis-trim monitor detects excessive forces. If AP disconnects then A/C will pitch nose down.

Pitch mis-trim monitor detects excessive forces. If AP disconnects then A/C will pitch nose up.

ap trim is rwd arrow btn

Roll mis-trim monitor detects excessive forces. For RWD, if AP disconnects then A/C will roll LWD.

lateral mode off arrow btn

A non-ROL mode has transitioned to ROL mode. This can be caused by the pilots selecting the basic ROL mode, selection of a different NAV source that causes the mode drop or the loss of valid data from the selected NAV source.

vertical mode off arrow btn

A non-PIT mode has transitioned to PIT mode. This can be caused by the pilots selecting the basic PIT mode, selection of a different NAV source that causes the mode drop or the loss of valid data from the selected NAV source.

yd 1 fail arrow btn

YD #1 fails.

yd 1-2 fail arrow btn

Both Yaw Dampers (YD) systems are reported failed.

YD #2 fails.

FWC detects no YD engaged.

a/t 1 fail arrow btn

A/T 1 has stopped communicating or is invalid (as determined by FWC), or the A/T reports a hardware or servo failure.

a/t 2 fail arrow btn

A/T 2 has stopped communicating or is invalid (as determined by FWC), or the A/T reports a hardware or servo failure.

a/t adc miscmp arrow btn

Selected A/T system is unavailable due to ADC data miscompare required for dual coupled approach A/T operation.

a/t irs miscmp arrow btn

Selected A/T system is unavailable due to IRS data miscompare required for dual coupled approach A/T operation.

afcs 1 fail arrow btn

Fault Warning determines that AFCS1 function has failed, either by examining in-line validity or by invalidating data being transmitted. (The AFCS function includes the YD, Auto-pilot and Flight Director.)

afcs 1-2 fail arrow btn

The flight director and/or autopilot functions of AFCS 1 and 2 do not operate.

YD Linear actuator not centered while on-ground.
