Overview
The wing inspection lighting shows the leading edges of the wings at night and in bad weather.
The wing-inspection lighting system has two lights. The DC bus 1 supplies power to the wing inspection lighting. The WING INSP switch on the EXTERNAL LIGHTS control panel controls, through the EMS CDUs, the wing inspection lighting.

Wing Inspection Lights
Two wing inspection lights, located in the right hand side and left hand side forward wing-to-fuselage fairings, light the parts of the wing leading edge that are critical with respect to ice accumulation. They provide the pilots with a means to inspect for ice accumulation during night operation in icing conditions. The single WING INSP switch located on the EXTERNAL LIGHTS control panel controls both wing inspection lights.
