Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Overview

The service doors provide access to some of the service points on the aircraft.

External Communication Servicing Connection Door

This door is located on the left side of the nose fuselage, immediately below the oxygen fill and indicator door. The door is held in place by a hinge and two latches.

When unlatched, the door moves out and down on the hinge to the open position. It closes when the door is lifted up and the latches are engaged.

A bracket is installed on the inner face of the aluminum alloy door to ensure that the switch on the communications panel returns to the off position when the door is closed.

Forward Overboard Servicing Connection Door

The forward overboard servicing connection door is located on the right side of the forward fuselage between FS295.00 and FS310.00.

It is installed with two latches and two hinges and provides access to the forward waste water connection.


Refuel/Defuel Door

The Refuel/Defuel Connector Access Panel is located on the right side of the fuselage in the leading edge of the wing to fuselage fairing.

It is installed with two latches and two hinges and provides access to the refuel/defuel single point adapter and to the refuel defuel control panel. A grounding connector is also located inside the panel.

There is one proximity sensor at the refuel/defuel door. A LARGE SERV DOORS CAS message is displayed when the door is open.

Potable Water Servicing Connection Door

The potable water servicing connection door is on the right side of the aft fuselage, between FS835 and FS845. It provides access to the fill control panel for the potable water system.

Ground Air Servicing Connection Door

The ground air connection door is installed on the center of the belly fairing, underneath the empennage, between FS987.00 an FS996.00 and provides access to the ground air servicing connector.

Oxygen Fill and Indicator Door

This door is on the left side of the fuselage nose section, forward of the pitot head just above the external communication servicing connection door. It is installed with one hinge and two latches and provides access to the oxygen refill adapter and pressure gauge.

The door moves out and down on the hinge to the open position. It closes when it is pushed up and in until the two latches fully engage.

AC Ground Power Connection Door

The AC ground power connection door is on the left side of the aft fuselage, below the baggage door. It provides access to the AC ground power connection.

DC Ground Power Connection Door

The DC ground power connection door is located on the center of the belly fairing just forward of the ground air servicing connector and provides access to the external DC power receptacle.

Aft Overboard Servicing Connection Door

The aft overboard servicing connection door is on the right side of the aft fuselage between FS815 and FS832. It provides access to the aft lavatory waste water connection.

No. 3 Hydraulic System Servicing Door

The No. 3 hydraulic system servicing door is on the left side of the aft fuselage, immediately below the baggage door. It provides access to the connections for the No. 3 hydraulic system.
