Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access CAIMS to view stored or active faults. Select displayed message from menu below:
  2. Make sure connector (A204) and the wires connected on stick shaker 2 are not damaged.

    1. If defects are found, repair defective as required and do close out.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a continuity to ground at the Stick Shaker 2 A204P1 Pin B.

    1. If there is continuity, continue with next step.
    2. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.

  4. Remove the Stall Protection Computer; inspect the tray, connector and the pins at the connector tray.

    1. If defects are found, rectify as required.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  5. Perform a 28 VDC voltage check at the SPC input (A40BP1-1) from SPDA 4.

    1. If 28 VDC is present, continue with next step.
    2. If 28 VDC is not present, perform a wiring check between the SPC and SPDA 4 and repair as required.

  6. Re-install the SPC.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: The SPC is difficult to install due to it's location.

  7. Swap SPDA 4 with SPDA 2. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective SPDA.

  8. Replace Stick Shaker 2.
NOTE: If possible, swap stick shaker 2 and 1 and confirm that the fault follows the shaker to the other side.
  9. Do close out.
