Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Use the PMAT to access CAIMS System Diagnostics. Select ATA 21 > ASCS 1A (1B, 2A, 2B) > LRU TEST > PACK TEMP. SENSOR DATA. Record sensor data using the ECS data table. Compare values between channels and sides.
NOTE: Best results are obtained if Air Conditioning system components are allowed to reach ambient temperature.

    1. If only one channel has out of range values, go to step 3.
    2. If both channels of the same ACSC have out of range values, continue with next step.

  2. Swap Pack Inlet Temp Sensors (PITS). Is the fault still present on the same side?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective PITS and do close out.

  3. Perform wiring checks between Pack Inlet Temperature Sensor connector (E23P1) and ACSC 1 connector (A87P2).

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring and do close out.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  4. Swap ACSC 1 with ACSC 2 to confirm faulty unit and do close out.
  5. Do close out.
