Fault Description:
Diplexer/The Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) has been marked failed by the Satellite Communication (SATCOM) system.
Possible Causes:
- Antenna Control Unit (ACU) (A227)
- Diplexer/Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) (A230)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Disconnect LNA connector A230P4 and ACU connector A227P2. Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A230P4-G Ground A230P4-K Ground A230P4-B Ground A230P4-H Ground A230P4-J Ground A230P4-A Ground - If there is continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If there is no continuity, continue with next step.
- Perform a continuity check as follows:
From To Result A230P4-G A227P2-N A230P4-K A227P2-P A230P4-B A227P2-m A230P4-H A227P2-W A230P4-J A227P2-X A230P4-A A227P2-k - If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- Replace the LNA. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Replace the ACU.
- Do close out.
