Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Disconnect IRU 2 connector A33BP1 and SDU connector A228BP1. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A228BP1-C6 Ground
    A228BP1-D6 Ground
    A228BP1-C6 A228BP1-D6

    1. If there is continuity, repair defective wiring or JB as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  2. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    A228BP1-C6 A33BP1-E5
    A228BP1-D6 A33BP1-E6

    1. If there is continuity, continue with next step.
    2. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring or JB as required and do close out.

  3. Swap IRU 2 with IRU 1. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace IRU 2 and do close out.

  4. Replace the SDU.
  5. Do close out.
