Fault Description:
The databus from Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) 1 is detected inactive or faulty.
Possible Causes:
- Inertial Reference Unit (IRU) 1 (A32)
- Satellite Data Unit (SDU) (A228)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Disconnect IRU 1 connector A32BP1 and SDU connector A228BP1. Perform a wiring check as follows:
From To Result A32BP1-F14 Ground A32BP1-F15 Ground A32BP1-F14 A32BP1-F15 - If the wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check as follows:
From To Result A32BP1-F14 A228BP1-A6 A32BP1-F15 A228BP1-B6 - If the wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Swap IRU 1 with IRU 2. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, install the IRUs in their original position and continue with next step.
- If NO, replace IRU 1 and do close out.
- Replace the SDU.
- Do close out.
