Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Disconnect SDU connector A228CP1. Inspect all the pins and sockets on both mating sides of the connector. Make sure there are no loose, damaged or bent pins/sockets.

    1. If the inspection is not satisfactory, repair defective as required and do close out.
    2. If the inspection is satisfactory, continue with next step.

  2. Re-connect the SDU and test the system. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  3. Swap SPDA 4 with another SPDA. Is the fault still present?

    1. If NO, replace SPDA 4 and do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  4. Make sure the wiring between SPDA 4 connector A16P1-m and SDU connector A228CP1-2 is not damaged or does not have an intermittent connection. Check for short to ground as well.

    1. If the wiring is defective, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If the wiring is good, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the SDU.
  6. Do close out.
