Airborne Data-Link Unit (ADLU) reads an invalid configuration from the configuration module. Set during power up initialization if an invalid configuration is detected.

Check configuration module entries for validity.

1. Make sure the ADLS configuration data (ground address, aircraft type information, aircraft registration number, and communication interface data) is correct.
2. Is the ADLS configuration data correct?

   1. If NO, enter the correct configuration data as required and do close out.
   2. If YES, continue with next step.

3. Remove the Airborne Data-Link Unit Configuration Module. Inspect the module to make sure that the wires between Configuration Module and the ADLU are connected as follows:
   

   Configuration Module	ADLU	Result
   TCZ 0435 Y	A239AP1-C11
   TCZ 0435 R	A239AP1-D11
   TCZ 0435 B	A239AP1-C12
   TCZ 0435 BN	A239AP1-D12

4. Are the wires between Configuration Module and the ADLU connected correctly?

   1. If NO, reconnect the wires between configuration module and the ADLU as per table above and do close out.
   2. If YES, continue with next step.

5. Replace the Airborne Data-Link Unit Configuration Module (ADLU Configuration Module is faulty).
6. Do close out.
