Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Disconnect contactor K2 connector P106.
  2. In the cockpit, turn the BATT MSTR SW to ON.
  3. Check for 28 Volts DC between P106 to ground as follow:

    From To Result
    P106-1 Ground

    1. If there is Voltage, go to step 5.
    2. If there is no Voltage, continue with next step.

  4. Perform wiring checks between EM1, TB101 and TB202 as follow:

    From To Result
    P407 TB202-1
    TB101-1 TB202-1

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  5. In the cockpit, turn the BATT MSTR SW to OFF.
  6. Perform a continuity check between K2 to ground as follows:

    From To Result
    P106-1 Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 9.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  7. Check TB101-2 connection. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks is good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  8. Check TB601-7 connection. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks is good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  9. Remove PLC 1, PLC 2 and PLC 3.
  10. Perform a continuity check on K8 relay between K2 and ground as follows:

    From To Result
    P106-8 Ground
    P106-22 Ground

    1. If there is continuity, go to step 16.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  11. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P106-22 P315C-36
    P106-22 P115C-36
    P106-22 P415C-36
    P106-8 P315B-22
    P106-8 P115B-22
    P106-8 P415B-22

    1. If there is continuity, continue with next step.
    2. If there is no continuity, go to step 16.

  12. Replace K2.

    1. If system check is good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  13. Re-install PLC 2 and PLC 3.

    1. If system checks is good, replace PLC 1 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  14. Remove PLC 2 and reinstall PLC 1.

    1. If system checks is good, replace PLC 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  15. Remove PLC 3 and reinstall PLC 2.

    1. If system checks is good, replace PLC 3 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  16. Replace ACPC.
  17. Do close out.
