Fault Description:
Channel A of the Stall Protection Computer (SPC) senses a Shaker 1 low current or an over current condition. The error can be found during continuous Built-In Test (BIT) or a Pilot Activated Test (PAT).
Possible Causes:
- Stick Shaker 1 (A203)
- Stall Protection Computer (SPC) (A40)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Make sure the connector (A203) and the wires connect on the stick shaker 1 are not damaged.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure the ground return at the Stick Shaker 1 A203P1 Pin B.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Remove the Stall Protection Computer; inspect the tray, connector and the pins at the connector tray.
- Measure the 28 VDC at the SPC from the SPDA 1.
- Reinstall the SPC.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: The SPC is difficult to install due to it’s location.
- Replace Stick Shaker 1.
NOTE: If possible, swap the stick shaker 1 and 2 and confirm that the fault follows the shaker 1 in shaker 2 positions. - Do close out.
