Message Description:
Ice Detector 2 is reporting itself defective to Bleed Management Controller (BMC) 2. Inhibited during Take-off and Landing.

- Bleed Management Controller (BMC) 2 (A70)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between BMC 2 connector A70P2 and Ice Detector 2 connector E49P1 as follow:
From To Result A70P2-27 E49P1-4 - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Interchange BMC 2 with BMC 1.
- If system checks are good, replace BMC 2 and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Ice detector 2.
- Do close out.
NOTE:
- Ice Detector Status can be monitored into CAIMS.
- Perform alternate test for this fault if the criteria stated in AW700-30-0292 is met.
