Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Continuous power to the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Door Linear Actuator Open-Relay from the Full Authority Digital Engine Controller (FADEC), indicating an internal driver short circuit.

Possible Causes:

  • Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Full Authority Digital Engine Controller (FADEC) (A108)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Re-rack the APU FADEC and verify condition of connector A108BP1, as well as the APU FADEC mounting tray connectors for damage or contamination.

    1. If damage/contamination is found, repair/rectify as required and do close out.
    2. If damage not found, continue with next step.

  2. Replace  the APU FADEC.
  3. Do close out.
