Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Open the following circuit breakers:

SYSTEM NAME CIRCUIT BREAKER NAME BUS NAME
ENGINE L ENG FUEL HPSOV BATT
ENGINE L ENG IGN 1 BATT
ENGINE L ENG IGN 2 BATT
ENGINE L ENG START A BATT
ENGINE L ENG START B BATT
ENGINE L FADEC CH A BATT
ENGINE L FADEC CH B BATT

  2. Perform a deactivation of the thrust reverser.
  3. Open the cowls.
  4. Perform a visual inspection of the interface wiring, terminals and connectors for damage between the EEC connector (P1046) and N2 speed probe shared connector (P1073).

    1. If there is a damage, repair or replace the defective interface wiring and do close out.
    2. If there is no damage, continue with next step.

  5. Monitor the system to see if the fault message occurs again.

    1. If the fault message occurs again, troubleshoot it first and continue with next step.
    2. If the fault message does not occurs again, continue with next step.

  6. Close the cowls.
  7. Perform the activation of the thrust reverser.
  8. Close the following circuit breakers:

SYSTEM NAME CIRCUIT BREAKER NAME BUS NAME
ENGINE L ENG FUEL HPSOV BATT
ENGINE L ENG IGN 1 BATT
ENGINE L ENG IGN 2 BATT
ENGINE L ENG START A BATT
ENGINE L ENG START B BATT
ENGINE L FADEC CH A BATT
ENGINE L FADEC CH B BATT

  9. Check If the maintenance alert message is active.

    1. If the maintenance alert message is not active, do close out.
    2. If the maintenance alert message is active, continue with next step.

  10. Replace N2 Speed Probe.
  11. Do close out.
