Message Overview:

AIRFLOW INTO PASSENGER COMPARTMENT HIGHER THAN VALUE SET WITH L PACK CONTROL ROTARY SWITCH

Identifier: 215OBS004
Effectivity: All
System: Air Conditioning
Associated CAS: None
System Description(:|) 21-51-00
Schematic Diagram: 21-51-00 [ Global Express ]  [ G5000 ]  [ Global XRS ]
Wiring Diagram: 21-51-00 [ Global Express ]  [ G5000 ]  [ Global XRS ]

Message Description:

The total airflow which goes into the passenger compartment is apparently lower than the set value on the PACK CONTROL rotary switch on the BLEED AIR control panel.

Possible Causes:

  • Pack Inlet Pressure Sensor has high drift
  • Pack Inlet Flow Sensor has low drift
  • Leakage at the Pneumatic Lines Locations between the Flow Sensor Venturi, the Pack Inlet Pressure Sensor, and the Pack Inlet Flow Sensor

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Do a leak test at the pneumatic line location between the left flow sensor venturi and the left pack inlet pressure sensor; between the left flow sensor venturi and the left pack inlet flow sensor as follows:

    1. Examine the pneumatic line and pneumatic line connections.
    2. Use the leak detector to find leaks and make a mark on the location where leaks are found.
    3. If there is a leak in the pneumatic line, repair the leak.

  2. Swap flow sensor venturis.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Swap Pack Inlet Pressure Sensors.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Swap Pack Inlet Flow Sensors.
  5. Do close out.
