Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Make sure that the fire handles have not been pulled or activated in the cockpit.
- Inspect Fire bottle 1 for signs of damage.
- If damage or defect is found, rectify or repair as required and do close out.
- If no damage or defect is found, continue with next step.
- Inspect the left Bleed filter sense line for any signs of damage or erosion.
- If a hole is eroded in the Bleed filter sense line, it could result in a bleed leak and temperature rise near the fire bottle.
- If no damage is noted to the left Bleed filter sense line, continue with next step.
- Inspect the area for any other source of bleed leak that could cause the temperature to rise around the fire bottle.
NOTE: Prolonged use of the APU on ground in very hot weather conditions may cause the rear bay to overheat as well.- If no cause can be found after inspection, contact the Bombardier Customer response Center for additional troubleshooting.
- If any cause is present, troubleshoot it first and continue with next step.
- Do close out.
