Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. On the wing cross-bleed valve, check that the manual lever is at the closed position.

    1. If the manual lever is not at closed position, set to closed position and continue with next step.
    2. If the manual lever is at closed position, continue with next step.

  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (L33P1) from the wing cross-bleed valve L33. Perform a continuity check between the pins of electrical receptacle (L33J1) of the cross-bleed valve as follows:

    From To Result
    L33J1-1 L33J1-6

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 6.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with the next step.

  3. Perform a continuity check within electrical receptacle (L33J1) of the wing cross-bleed valve as follows:

    From To Result
    L33J1-5 L33J1-6

    1. If there is no continuity, go to step 6.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with the next step.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector P647. Perform a continuity check as follows:

    From To Result
    P647-1 L33P1-5

    1. If there is no continuity, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is continuity, continue with the next step.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors BMC 1 connector (A69P1), BMC 2 connector (A70P1) and DAU 3 connector (A30BP1). Perform a continuity check between electrical connector P647 and the electrical connector that follows:

    From To Result
    P647-1 A69P1-14
    P647-1 A70P1-14
    P647-1 A30BP1-F5

    1. If there is continuity, do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, repair or replace the defective wiring as required or replace the PCB3/JB3 and do close out.

  6. Replace the wing cross-bleed valve.
  7. Do close out.
