Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Using the PMAT, access CAIMS, select SYST DIAG, select ATA 21, select CPC 1(2), select LRU TEST and select CPC #1(2) CTRL PANEL & OUTFLOW VALVE DATA. Check the status for EMERGENCY DEPRESS (Discrete inputs from control panel).

    1. If the Status is active on only one CPC, continue with next step.
    2. If the status is active on both CPC, go to step 3.

  2. Swap CPC 1 with CPC 2. Perform step 1 again. Did the active status follow the CPC?

    1. If YES, replace defective CPC.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a wiring check of the PRESSURIZATION CONTROL PANEL (AP9).

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a wiring check between the PRESSURIZATION CONTROL PANEL (AP9) and the CPCs.

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If no defects are found, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the PRESSURIZATION CONTROL PANEL (AP9).
  6. Do close out.
