RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

The humidifier becomes defective.

Possible Causes:

  • Humidifier Level Sensor (MT214)
  • Humidifier Cabin Humidity Sensor (HCHS) (MT215)
  • Humidifier Water Boiler Temperature Sensor (HWTBS) (MT213)
  • Humidifier Drain Valve (HDV) (L53)
  • Humidifier Trim Air Valve (HTAV)
  • Humidifier Water Feed Valve (HWFV (L52))
  • Humidifier Water Shut-off Valve (HWSOV) (L51)
  • Aircraft Water Supply
  • Ground Stud GS257 incorrectly installed
  • Junction Box 3 (JB3)
  • Junction Box 4 (JB4)
  • Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 2
  • Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2
  • Humidifier Control Unit (HCU)
  • Associated Wiring
