Fault Description:
Right AFCS channel is lost or is invalid in air.
Possible Causes:
- Integrated Avionics Computer (IAC) 2 (A10)
- Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS)
- ASCB Bus Interface
- Guidance Panel (GP) (A79)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- On the CAIMS PMAT, get access to the active faults and look for active faults related to 22-11 INTEGRATED AVIONICS COMPUTER (AFCS) #2.
- Do the IMT fault code look-up procedure (AMM TASK 45-45-00-970-826) to find the applicable troubleshooting procedures.
- Carry out troubleshooting procedures.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between IAC2, JB4, aileron servo and elevator servo. Repair as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between IAC3 and JB4. Repair as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace IAC2.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace JB4.
- Do close out.
