Fault Description:
'FUEL RECIRC ON' (Advisory) shows when the left or right engine FRTT valve is open during any of the conditions that follow:
- The landing gear is down and locked and the weight-on-wheels indication is false
- The flaps are in the take-off/landing position
- The left (right) wing fuel quantity is less than 600 lbs (272.16 kg)
- The aircraft altitude is less than 34,000 ft (10,363.20 m) and the weight-on-wheels indication is false
Possible Causes:
- RECIRC switch ON and aircraft out of configuration
- Fuel Computer (FMQGC) (A47)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
'FUEL RECIRC' (Advisory) CAS message is displayed (Manual System)
NOTE: If the FUEL RECIRC switch is turned ON when the aircraft is below 34,000 ft or there is only 600 lbs of fuel or the aircraft is near landing with gear down the 'FUEL RECIRC ON' (Advisory) CAS message will illuminate.
ACTION: Turn OFF the FUEL RECIRC switch. If switch is OFF then continue with troubleshooting below.
- Remove the fuel control panel and perform the wiring check below. (For MANUAL RECIRC system). Disconnect AP5P1 and AP5P2.

AP5J1 - 11OPEN - If the wiring check is OK then continue with the next step.
- If the wiring check is not OK then suspect the LH or RH RECIRC switches or Fuel Control Panel.
- Remove the FMQGC and per form the wiring check below. Leave the fuel control panel connectors disconnected.
FROM TO EXPECTED RESULT RESULT A47AP1 - K11 Airframe Ground OPEN A47AP1 - J11 Airframe Ground OPEN - If the wiring check is OK then go to next step.
- If the wiring check is not OK then suspect the wiring from the FMQGC to the Fuel Control Panel is shorted to ground. Repair or replace wiring.
- Re-install the FMQGC making sure it is fully and properly pushed into place. Is the fault still present? Re-connect the fuel control panel AP5P1 and AP5P2.
- If YES, then suspect the FMQGC at fault
- If NO, then do close out.
'FUEL RECIRC' (Advisory) CAS message is displayed (AUTO system)
- Re-rack the FMQGC making sure it is fully and properly pushed into place. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, then continue with next step.
- If NO, then do close out.
- Remove the FMQGC and perform wiring check below.
FROM TO EXPECTED RESULT RESULT A47AP1 - J10 Airframe Ground Continuity A47AP1 - K10 Airframe Ground Continuity - If the wiring check at A47AP1 - K10 is OPEN then suspect the RH FRTT shut-off valve is stuck open, or associated wiring to the valve is shorted to ground.
- If the wiring check at A47AP1 - J10 is OPEN then suspect the LH FRTT shut-off valve is stuck open, or associated wiring to the valve is shorted to ground.
- If the wiring check is OK then continue with the next step.
- Suspect the FMQGC.
- Do close out.
