Message Description:
DAU 2 is reporting the Engine Driven Pump 1A at a pressure less than 2400 psi with the left engine running.
Possible Causes:
- Quantity of Hydraulic-Fluid
- Engine Driven Pump (EDP) 1A
- DAU 2
- Hydraulic Pressure-Switch 1A
- Left hydraulic Firewall Shut-Off Valve not fully open
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Carry out a quantity check of the hydraulic system 1.
- Verify that the left engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve is physically fully open.
- If the left engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve is not fully open, do the operational test of the left engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve and replace if necessary.
- Start the left engine and check the No. 1 Hydraulic system pressure.
- If pressure is good, go to step 6.
- If pressure is low, continue with next step.
- Replace the EDP 1.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- With the engines running, disconnect the EDP 1A pressure switch connector S34P1 and install a jumper between S34P1-A and S34P1-B.
- If message remains, go to step 8.
- If message goes away, continue with next step.
- Replace the pressure switch.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Remove jumper and install connector S34P1.
- Swap DAU 2 with DAU 3.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Do wiring checks between the EDP 1A pressure switch and the DAU 2 and repair as required.
- Do close out.
