Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Carry out a quantity check of the hydraulic system 2.
  2. Verify that the right engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve is physically fully open.
  3. If the right engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve is not fully open, do the operational test of the right engine firewall hydraulic shut-off valve and replace if necessary.
  4. Start the left engine and check the No. 2 Hydraulic system pressure.

    1. If pressure is good, go to step 6.
    2. If pressure is low, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the EDP 2.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. With the engines running, disconnect the EDP 2A pressure switch connector S37P1 and install a jumper between S37P1-A and S37P1-B.

    1. If message remains, go to step 8.
    2. If message goes away, continue with next step.

  7. Replace the pressure switch.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  8. Remove jumper and install connector S37P1.
  9. Swap DAU 3 with DAU 2.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  10. Do wiring checks between EDP 2A pressure switch and DAU 3 and repair as required.
  11. Do close out.
