Message Description:
The PITOT-STATIC2 probe heater(s) circuit has been detected opened by HBMU2.
Possible Causes:
- Interface wiring between HBMU2 and Pitot Static Probe 2 Heater
- Pitot Static Probe 2 Heater
- Heater/Brake-Temperature Monitoring Unit (HMBU) 2

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between HBMU2 and pitot static probe 2 heater.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure the resistance of pitot static probe 2 heater.
PS2 probe head heater should be 20 ohms ±10 ohms at 68°F.
PS2 probe base heater should be 210 ohms approximately.- If resistance within range, go to step 4.
- If resistance out of range, continue with next step.
- Replace pitot static probe no. 2.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap HBMUs
- Do close out.
