Message Description:
The TAT3 Heater circuit has been detected opened by HBMU1.
Possible Causes:
- Interface wiring between Heater/Brake-Temperature Monitoring Unit (HMBU) 3 and Total Air Temperature (TAT) 3
- Total Air Temperature (TAT) 3 Heater
- Heater/Brake-Temperature Monitoring Unit (HMBU) 3

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform wiring checks between HBMU 1 and TAT 3 heater.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Measure the resistance of TAT 3 heater.
NOTE: TAT 3 heater should be approximately 20 ohms at ambient temperature. - If resistance within range, go to step 4.
- If resistance out of range, continue with next step.
- Replace the TAT 3 probe.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap HBMU 1 with HBMU 2.
- Do close out.
