Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The temperature of the wing anti-icing system is too high.

Possible Causes:

  • Anti-icing Temperature Sensor is not correctly installed
  • Outboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor is not correctly installed
  • Inboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor
  • Outboard Anti-Icing Temperature Sensor
  • Anti-Icing Modulating-and-Shutoff Valve
  • There is a fracture in the Left Slat 4 Piccolo Duct
  • There is a fracture in the Right Slat 4 Piccolo Duct
  • Data Acquisition Units (DAU)
  • Bleed Management Controller (BMC)

  • BMC NFF Action:
  • To support the technical investigation, FSRs and Service Centers are requested to perform an NVM download and complete a condition report and (BMC) PN GG546-1017-XX questionnaire when troubleshooting or removing a Bleed Management Controller (BMC) PN GG546-1017-XX.
  • To avoid the display of any Bleed related CAS nuisance message after replacement of BMC due to internal failure, follow AW700-36-0365 instructions.
  • Proceed to a QAR (if available) download of the last three flights (Aircraft meeting FAR part 135.172).
