These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

There is a loss of redundancy in the Brake Control System.

Brake Control System (BCS) NFF Action:

  • To support the technical investigation, FSRs and Service Centers are requested to perform an NVM download, complete a condition report and fill a BCS questionnaire.

  • Download and complete this Water Ingress Survey Form.
  • To avoid unnecessary replacement of BCS part due to Brake related CAS nuisance message, before troubleshooting, follow AW700-32-0513 instructions
