Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Make sure there are no reported faults or anomalies with the Radio Altimeter (RAD ALT) system.

    1. If there are faults or anomalies with the RAD ALT, troubleshoot them first.
    2. If there are no faults or anomalies, continue with next step.

  2. Remove and re-seat the LGECU. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  3. Perform wiring check between the LGECU and the DAUs.

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If NO, wiring defects are found, continue with next step.

  4. Swap DAU 1 with DAU 3. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective DAU.

  5. Swap DAU 4 with DAU 2. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective DAU.

  6. Replace the LGECU.
  7. Do close out.
