Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Integrated Maintenance Test (IMT) Fault Code Look-up AMM 45-45-00-970-826 [ Global Express ]  [ G5000 ]  [ Global XRS ]

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Using the PMAT, access CAIMS, System Diagnostics, ATA 34, Air Data Computer and perform a test of the associated ADC. If the test fails, an IMT failure code will be displayed. Record the code (AMM 45-45-00-970-804 - Access to System Diagnostics).
  2. In the PMAT Start Menu, select AIRCRAFT DIAGNOSTIC and click on IMT FAILURE CODE LOOKUP to launch the tool (AMM 45-45-00-970-826 - Integrated Maintenance Test (IMT) Fault Code Look-up).
    caims_adc_imt
  3. Select the recorded code from the dropdown menu and perform the troubleshooting steps displayed on the page.

    1. If the fault is isolated and resolved, do close out.
    2. If no code was present or the fault persists, continue with next step.

  4. Do the procedures that follow until the fault of the ADC system is isolated:

    1. Functional test of the ADC system.
    2. Detailed inspection of the pitot-static probes.
    3. All Pitot system 1 contamination removal tasks (see Quick Links: section above)
NOTE: This step should be performed, regardless if contamination is found in the moisture traps.
    4. Functional test of the pitot-static systems.
    5. Leak test of the pitot-static system 1.
    6. Leak test of the pitot-static system 2.
    7. Leak test of the pitot-static system 3.

  5. Do close out.
