Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Set when ADC 2 is unreliable. Degraded static error correction.

Possible Causes:

  • Air Data Computer (ADC 2)
  • ADC 2 Interface Systems
  • DCPC Contactor K2
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check if the following CAS messages are posted:

    • FMS#2 FAIL (cyan)
    • ADC 2 DEGRADED (cyan) 
    • ADC 3 FAIL (cyan)

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO go to step 3.

  2. Pull ESS BUS TRU 1 CB, (Tdrive DCPC reconfiguration) Are the CAS messages posted?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, DCPC contactor K2 is highly suspected, inspect the contactor.

  3. Using PMAT, access the Active Fault/Stored Fault as per AMM Tasks.
  4. Select related CAIMS message below:
