Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

A leak is sensed on the Right Bleed Air System. The system is installed on the right side of the Aft Equipment Compartment and Pylon.

Possible Causes:

  • Uroseals
  • A Bleed Air Leak is sensed on the Right Bleed Air System
  • A loose or incorrect installation of the Sensing Elements of the Right Bleed Leak Detection System
  • Right Bleed Management Controller (R BMC) (A70)

NOTES:

  • R BLEED LEAK may be posted if the aircraft is operated outside the AFM 02-08-1 and FCOM1 07-06 Hot Weather Operation limitations.
  • Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) should not be used for Bleed Extraction to operate air conditioning above 45 C OAT.
  • Refer to the Aft Equipment Bay Bleed Leak Troubleshooting Aid Reference Document for help in identifying leaks, component identification and tooling instructions.
