Fault Description:
Left FADEC has been detected in overheat condition. Left internal EEC temperature monitor tripped.
Possible Causes:
- Leaking component on the engine
- Overheated components on engine
- Left Engine Electronic Controller (EEC)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Access CAIMS active or stored faults. Select displayed message from menu below:
- If no messages are present, continue with next step
- Perform a General Visual Inspection of the Engine.
NOTE: Pay particular attention to the P30 tube coming from the EEC. - Perform an Engine Run Leak Check.
- If no leaks are detected, continue with next step.
- If leaks are detected, rectify as required.
NOTE: Pay particular attention to the P30 tube coming from the EEC.
- Inspect EEC 1 for signs of overheat.
- If there are no signs of overheat, continue with next step.
- If there are signs of overheat, investigate the reason and replace EEC.
- Replace the left EEC. You may swap EEC 1 with EEC 2 to confirm faulty unit.
- Do close out.
