Message Description:
An indication that the EEC changed to N1 control mode for the right engine. This occurs when EEC cannot use the primary EPR control mode.
Possible Causes:
- Air Data Inputs
- P50 System
- Data Entry Plug (DEP) input

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- On the EICAS, are the R FADEC FAIL (Caution) or R FADEC FAULT (Advisory) CAS messages displayed?
- If YES perform the fault isolation for these messages first.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Access CAIMS active or stored faults. Select displayed message from menu below:
- If no messages are displayed, continue with next step.
- Do the visual check of the engine controlling system.
- If defects are found, rectify as required.
- If no defects are found, continue with next step.
- Swap the right EEC with the left EEC. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace defective EEC.
- Perform the troubleshooting in the R FADEC FAIL (Caution) or R FADEC FAULT (Advisory) CAS message pages.
- Do close out.
