RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

The Cabin Pressure Controller (CPC) 1 does not receive the ARINC 429 signal from CPC 2.

Possible Causes:

  • Cabin Pressure Controller (CPC) 1 (A21)
  • Cabin Pressure Controller (CPC) 2 (A22)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform wiring checks of the ARINC 429 wires going from CPC 2 to CPC 1. Use the PMAT bus reader to verify data transmission (CPC 1 Label 353).

    1. If data is received, replace CPC 1.
    2. If data is not received, replace CPC 2.

  2. Do close out.
