Fault Description:
Hot Air Shut-off Valve (HASOV) #1 position does not agree with the Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 1 command.
Possible Causes:
- Hot Air Shut-off Valve (HASOV) 1 (L20)
- Junction Box (JB5)
- Data Acquisition Unit (DAU) 1 (A17)
- Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 1 (A87)
- Bleed Air Control Panel (AP8)
- Trim Air Switch (SDS6)
- Associated Wiring

The HASOV has a visual indicator arm. The HASOV's harness may be long enough to swap connectors; this will alleviate the o-ring issue when swapping the valves for troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap Hot Air Shut-off Valve 1 with Hot Air Shut Off Valve 2.
- If the system checks are good, replace Hot Air Shut Off Valve 1 and do close out.
- If the fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap DAU 1 with DAU 2.
- If the system checks are good, replace DAU 1 and do close out.
- If the fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap ACSC 1 with ACSC 2.
- If the system checks are good, replace ACSC 1 and do close out.
- If the fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform continuity check of JB5.
- If there is continuity, continue with next step.
- If there is no continuity, replace JB5 and do close out.
- Check K7 and K8 for correct operation.
- Perform a wiring check of wires between HASOV#1 and JB5.
- If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check of wires between JB5 and ACSC1.
- If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Perform a wiring check of wires between JB5 and Bleed Air Control Panel Trim Air Switch.
- If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Check Trim Air Control Panel.
- If the system checks are good, do close out.
- If the fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Bleed Air Control Panel.
- Do close out.
