Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap SPDA 2 with SPDA 4.

    1. If the system checks are good, replace SPDA 2 and do close out.
    2. If the fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE 1: If SPDA 3 has been swapped with SPDA 4 a fault may have been transferred to another system on SPDA 2 ref Build 4 load lists with Pinout.xls).
NOTE 2: When swapping SPDAs, it is possible to lose your DC cabin feeds. Check the EMS-CDU Switch Control Page 3 under SYSTEM - CNTL button. First page is AC feeds 2nd and 3rd are DC feeds that will toggle off.

  2. Swap ACSC 1 with ACSC 2.

    1. If the system checks are good, replace ACSC 1 and do close out.
    2. If the fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Remove JB5 and perform wiring checks of all wiring / circuit involved with the sensors power source (ref: Wiring Diagram: 21-51-00 Sheet 1 of 3 Page 1).

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Perform continuity check of JB5.

    1. If there is continuity, repair the defective associated wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity, continue with next step.

  5. Replace JB5.
  6. Do close out.
