Fault Description:
The Avionics Rack Supply Fan has been detected failed by the Left Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC).
Possible Causes:
- Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 1 (A87)
- Avionics Rack Supply Fan (B67)
- Data Acquisition Units (DAU) 3 (A30)
- Secondary Power Distribution Assembly (SPDA) 4 (A16)
- Junction Box (JB5)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap ACSC 1 with ACSC 2.
- If the system check is good, replace ACSC 1 and do close out.
- If the fault remains, continue with next step.
- Make sure power is present at the Avionics Rack Supply Fan.
- If power is present, go to step 5.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between SPDA 4 and Avionics Rack Supply Fan.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace SPDA 4.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check for the wires between Avionics Rack Supply Fan and ACSC 1.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace Avionics Rack Supply Fan.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring check between JB5 and DAU 3.
- If wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace DAU 3.
- Do close out.
NOTE 1: If SPDA 3 has been swapped with SPDA 4 a fault may have been transferred to another system on SPDA 2 ref Build 4 load lists with Pinout.xls (Available from FSR).
NOTE 2: When swapping SPDA's, it is possible to loose your DC cabin feeds. Check the EMS-CDU Switch Control Page 3 under SYSTEM - CNTL button. First page is AC feeds 2nd and 3rd are DC feeds that will toggle off.
