WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Right Mix Manifold Temperature-Sensor has been detected out of range by Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 Channel A.

Possible Causes:

  • Mix Manifold Temperature Sensor 2 (E30)
  • Air Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 (A88)
  • Associated Wiring

  • AW700-21-0160 - "PACK FAULT" CAS message while CAIMS / OMS is active (Global Express / XRS - 9002 to 9312, 9314 to 9380, 9384 to 9429 and Global 5000 - 9127 to 9383, 9389 to 9400, 9404 to 9431 and 9998)

CAIMS has Pack Temp. Sensor Data for ACSC controllers on all 4 channels. This will show sensor data and give you an idea of problem areas, even with the air system not operating, but power is on.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Swap Mix Manifold Temperature-Sensor 2 with Mix Manifold Temperature-Sensor 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Mix Manifold Temperature-Sensor 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Perform wiring checks between Mix Manifold Temperature-Sensor and ACSC 2.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  3. Replace ACSC 2.
  4. Do close out.
