RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Fault Description:

Air-Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 internal failure.

Possible Causes:

  • Air-Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 (A88)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Tips:

Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin:

  • AW700-21-0160 - "PACK FAULT" CAS message while CAIMS / OMS is active (Global Express / XRS - 9002 to 9312, 9314 to 9380, 9384 to 9429 and Global 5000 - 9127 to 9383, 9389 to 9400, 9404 to 9431 and 9998)

Ensure cannon plugs are clean and all pins and sockets intact and secure. Check the drag on the appropriate sockets for continuity.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Do a wiring checks at ACSC 2, including 28 volts at A88P1-44 and A88P1-75 and Ground at A88P1-31, A88P1-54 and A88P1-65.

    1. If the wiring checks are not good, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If the wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  2. Re-Rack ACSC 2.
  3. Replace ACSC 2.
  4. Do close out.
