Fault Description:

Right Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensors has been detected out of range by Air-Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 Channel B.

Possible Causes:

  • Anti-Icing Pressure Sensor 2 (MT107)
  • Air-Conditioning System Controller (ACSC) 2 (A88)
  • Junction Box (JB6)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Tips:

Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin:

  • AW700-21-0160 - "PACK FAULT" CAS message while CAIMS / OMS is active

Forum Articles/Infoservice/Newsletter: None

CAIMS has Pack Pressure XDCR. Data for ACSC controllers on all 4 channels. This will show sensor data and give you an idea of problem areas.

If CAIMS messages [ACSC2-A] RH PCK IN FLOW SENS/WRG, [ACSC2-A] RH PCK IN PRESS XDCR/WRG,[ACSC2-B] RH PCK IN FLOW SENS/WRG, and [ACSC2-A] RH PCK IN PRESS XDCR/WRG all shown, most possible cause is the SPDA No.4 failure.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check CAIMS status of the Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensors (SYSTEM DIAG/21-00 AIR CONDITIONING/ACSC 2-B/LRU TEST/R ACSC CH. B PACK PRESSURE SENSOR DATA).
  2. Swap Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensor 2 with Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensor 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensor 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a wiring check between RH Pack Anti-Ice Pressure Sensor, JB6, ACSC 2 and Gnd.

    1. If wiring checks are not good, repair defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.

  4. Swap ACSC 2 with ACSC 1.

    1. If system checks are good, replace ACSC 2 and do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace JB6.
  6. Do close out.
