Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access CAIMS and check the pin programming as follow for both ACSCs to identify the affected side:

    • System Diag
    • 21-00 Air Conditioning
    • Choose the Air Conditioning System Controller in which you want to verify the configuration
    • LRU TEST
    • CTRL PANEL & VALVE DATA

  2. Make sure the AIRCRAFT CONFIG is in accordance with the actual aircraft type for both ACSCs.

    1. If the AIRCRAFT CONFIG is in accordance with the actual aircraft type, do close out.
    2. If the AIRCRAFT CONFIG is NOT in accordance with the actual aircraft type, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a wiring checks between the following for the affected side:
For Left ACSC: Make sure that ground stud (GS1158) resistance is in accordance with AMM tolerances.

    From To Result
    A87P1-29 GS1158

For Right ACSC: Make sure that ground stud (GS1167) resistance is in accordance with AMM tolerances.

    From To Result
    A88P1-29 GS1167

NOTE: Ground = 5000 and Open = GX / XRS

    1. If wiring and grounds are unserviceable, repair the defective associated wiring and do close out.
    2. If wiring and grounds are serviceable, continue with next step.

  4. Replace ACSC 1.
