Fault Description:
The Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) 1 senses incorrect input data from other aircraft systems.
Possible Causes:
- Aileron Parallel Servo (B26)
- Integrated Avionics Computer (IAC) 1 (A11)
- Integrated Avionics Computer (IAC) 2 (A10)
- Integrated Avionics Computer (IAC) 3 (A12)
- Elevator Parallel Servo (B25)
- Rudder Linear Actuator 1 (B19)
- Rudder Linear Actuator 2 (B18)

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Get access to system diagnostics on the CAIMS PMAT. Select the 22-00 AUTO FLIGHT, INTEGRATED AVIONICS COMPUTER (AFCS) #1 and the LRU TEST.
- Perform the IMT tests (Aileron Servo Test, Elevator Servo Test and Rudder Actuator Test) for the active fault. After each IMT test has completed, check the TEST RESULTS page and record the fault type and code for the active IMT fault.
- Perform the IMT fault code look-up procedure to find the applicable troubleshooting procedures.
- Do close out.
