Fault Description:
Auxiliary Power Unit Generator Control Unit (APU GCU) senses a Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) failure on phase A.
Possible Causes:
- Auxiliary Power Unit Generator Control Unit (APU GCU) (A109)
- Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Generator (A110)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Swap APU GCU with GCU#2.
- If system checks are good, replace APU GCU and do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Perform wiring checks between APU GCU and APU Generator as follow:
From To Result A109P1-E A110P1-G - If wiring checks are not good, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
- If wiring checks are good, continue with next step.
- Replace APU Generator.
- Do close out.
